Hi All,
I've been having an issue with my desktop where when I load multiplayer games, the computer appears to shut down or restart. The screen goes black and lights turn off in the tower. then, one light out of 2 will turn on. if I push the backlight button on the keyboard, it will flash but not stay on. I have to hard restart to get it going again. It seems to only happen with multiplayer games mid battle. It has never happened while playing Cyberpunk, and I can play a modded GTA5 server no problem. even lower graphic multiplayer games seem to do it. I wonder if it has something to do with the CPU (see temp from Spekky below, this is at startup). I also saw another post here with a similar problem that seemed to resolve by replacing the PSU. Thanks for the help!

what does performance monitor indicate?

If I’m reading the opening post right, it’s at 89 degrees C? Sounds like the cpu is too hot and is shutting off to not get damaged. This thread from Linus tech tips forum from 2017, one guy says you should keep it under 85.
