hello. :hello:

i am new to video streaming!

i would like to know if there is any way to stream video without delay?

what i am trying to do is to capture my screen (or running application) video + audio and stream it. i already tried with flash media live encoder and flash media server but i get 3 second delay.
i am sure it can be done without delay bucause it is how video chat works.

anyone know how to solve my problem? i dont know what else to do ...

thank you for your answers and suggestions.

What kind of device will you be streaming to?
What kind of video are you trying to stream?
Wired or wifi?

There is a chance that the network is simply delaying the streaming data.

i would like to stream conversation agent. its in beta phase at the moment. so server gets input (text or voice) and system responds with voice and agent animation.
at the moment it plays on servers desktop. i use VHScreenCapture software for capruring video and virtual audio cable for audio.

i would like to play that stream in XBMC. so it should be as short delay as possible. imagine a conversation where you have to wait 3 or more seconds for reply.

when i try streaming with VLC i get delay even on localhost... so atm there isn't any network issues.

i hope i gave enough informations for further information. thanks.
