Device is missing drivers and my mic randomly stopped working.

My SM Bus Controller drivers are missing, im pretty sure its what caused my mic to not work. i used my mic on my other desktop to see if it is my mic that isnt working and it worked fine on the other desktop but not on mine, and it stopped working ever since my sm bus controller decided to stop working as well and apparent be missing drivers. im not sure how to fix this but its keeping me from talking to my friends. i can hear thigns through my headset. just not talk through it.

First install the "Chipset" driver from your PC manufacturer's website, then install the "Audio" driver.

Downloaded the chipset driver, then the Realtek Audio drivers...still not working.

Look in Device Manager for any errors, unknown hardware or wrong drivers.
Deal with the errors as appropriate.
