I want to update my bios in my INTEL DH67BL motherboard with IFLASH BIOS UPDATE...
If I Disconnet my HDD From my MOTHERBOARD, so any problem happen there ?

Having HDD or not is important for Bios update ?

if I Change the Processor after bios update...then the update version stay with motherboard or not ?

Solution
To run the iFlash BIOS update you boot your PC from USB device, diskette, or bootable CD-ROM, so the normal boot drive (HDD) is not required (but there is no need to disconnect it since you won't be booting from it).

After the BIOS update has successfully completed, it will stay on that version even if you change the CPU.

If you're using the .exe utility from Windows to update your BIOS, you shouldn't be unplugging anything.if you're manually updating the BIOS using a pen drive you will need to have all hardware connected to the baord.

Also make sure you've got the right BIOS for your board. The wrong BIOS version for the wrong board will result in a dead board.

If your board and the socket supports the processor, then you can go ahead with the upgrade. The BIOS will be on the board, not the processor.
