You are :), you certainly are missing something with that attitude ^^! It's a game, chill out, go take a walk, come back, look at the screen and realize that what's in the rectangular image producer in from of you is not real.

I for one welcome the change in the color scheme and see the artistic values of the game. If you don't like it... too bad for you, try torchlight 2 or guild wars 2, maybe these will suit you more. And to finish :

I dont get why people are complaining about the graphics. I know it doesnt have that dark atmosphere but there is a fix for that made by some dude. http://darkd3.com/
It does make it look a bit better, atleast closer to what people were initialy hoping for Diablo

The Elder Scrolls games can be bested in a shorter time if one avoids everything but the main quest-line, and even though it's a different genre of RPG, the point remains; this article tells us nothing.

That kinda defeats the purpose of playing an RPG, or reading a book. You speed through everything and don't get to enjoy it. It's like putting your steak, eggs, bacon, soup, and salad in a blender and then drink the mixture. Sure, you get the same nutrition and everything pretty much gets mixed up in your stomach anyways, but that's not the point.

I would also like to point out that those Asian dudes take this **** serious. If it were pasty Europeans clicking awkwardly away and in only 7 hours, I might be worried, but even then, probably not.

The game launched 12 hours and 12 minutes agao and has been down for over 6 hours here and there so I say BULLSHIT!

I'm glad that someone was able to play the game for so long. I couldn't log in at all for the first hour of release so I went to bed, I played it this morning for an hour then the server maintenance started and I can no longer play. I'm rather disappointed.

Not worrying about the dificult settings, even if it was on easy, i think that 7 hours is pretty lame for an rpg... and that is not even speedrun... that is why diablo is not focused on campaign, and you can redo campaign with same char over and over... but still, 7 hours...

[citation][nom]tical2399[/nom]Well not really surprising. Its the trend with games these days. Prettier visuals and shorter play time.[/citation]

Don't forget that Expansion packs sell for $60 a piece. Why give you tons of content in one shot. The business model says, make them pay multiple times. Because after all, everyone needs to be rich.

My first playthrough of Diablo 2 on Normal took about 25 hours. I explored every nook and cranny collected every dropped gold. It's like those videos of the Super Nintendo Super Mario World game on youtube, where the guys finish it in 10 minutes. Personally, I went through every level, trying to find hidden levels and the game took me quite a few hours to finish it.

They only did it because their masters forced them so they could start farming.
