Question Difference between these GPUs? (Newbie)

I was feeling confident pressing the "Checkout" button in my NewEgg shopping card and realized that there were better reviews for the same GPU I was getting, however for a different brand. They are both RTX 580 cards, however one is MSI and the other XFX. I don't know what the difference between the two cards are and which I should get.

Which would you choose based on their specs?

The xfx is clocked slightly higher and appears to have a nicer cooler with a backplate. Performance between the two will probably be negligible. No experience with xfx, but it looks like a slightly better card.

I would gat the asus if you can afford the extra 10 dollars and space in the case

If not the MSI has better cooling while xfx has slightly higher clock speeds. If price matters a lot and the asus is out of the question(asus beats both) the I would get the xfx

Looks like all 3 are the same $$ after rebates. Always liked Asus cards a lot, and love that strix design. My strix 1070 did me very well while I had it. So I would second this recommendation for the Asus card!! Awesome looking card and great cooler.

Newegg has iffy rebates, I am still waiting for my $30 rebate from 1 year ago. If you decide to go with rebate make sure you get it

Yeah before I realized it was newegg.ca I wondered why an rx580 was so much $$$. It seems the Canadian dollar is just unfair period. Glad to live in the states when I see people post hardware prices from other countries.

Update: Ended up getting the XFX rx 580 from newegg and currently in the process of building my rig. So far so good. The build quality is great for the price, it's got a nice backplate and a really cool cooler (pun intended). Still a noobie, so I'll be super happy if I'm able to make the pc run in the first place! Will keep you guys updated. Thanks for the great suggestions!
