[SOLVED] Different Google Chrome shortcuts to open different pages?

So, I have a bit of a weird request, don't know if it's possible or not.

I have two basic ways of opening Google Chrome - either through the shortcut on my desktop or the pinned icon on the taskbar. What I basically want is that when I click the desktop shortcut, it open the basic 3 tabs that I have listed as 'Startup tabs' in the Chrome settings, but when I click on the taskbar icon, I only want a single tab of google search engine to open. So I basically want different startup pages for the two chrome shortcuts. Is this possible?

It's not weird at all. You can add the sites in the target field in the shortcut properties. Or you can use a .bat file.

Can you guide me through the process a bit?

Right click the icon > properties. In the target field add the sites with a space in between each. It should be something like

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" tomshardware.com google.com youtube.com

And how do I do it for the pinned taskbar icon? There are no properties for that.

Never mind, figured it out. Thanks a lot for the help!

Edit: Didn't need to remove the startup tabs apparently.
