Different XP versions

I have built a couple of computer using win xp home and pro but i have never touched Media Center Edition. What does it do that is so good? Is it a standard install like home or pro? Does it need a TV tuner card? Can I do everything that Media Center Edition does with my ATI All In One and XP Pro?

I think its basicly the same as xp or home, cant remember which. Anyways its the same just has more media type programs then normal pro or home does.
Would be good for a media center pc, hence the name, but will also play games. May have to disable some programs from running at startup to free resources but it will work.

It is XP Home (?) bundled with enhanced Media functionality. It also can be used as a PVR if you have a decent supported TV card.
