DIMM Memory for HP Slimline PC

My HP Slimline s5310f has 4 DIMM slots each with 1 GB memory (total 4 GB). Can I upgrade each slot to 2 GB (total 8GB). This Windows 7 64 bit system. Athlon II Dual Processor.

You are correct, I took the cover off and looked inside. So can I install 2 (4GB) DIMMS with this processor and gain more performance?
