direct parallel connection

I connected two PCs, one using XP Pro, one using XP HE, using direct parallel connection. I know its connected, since I can log-on. However, I have no idea on how to share printers, files, or even play a LAN game of SC. Help!

Long time since I used this but... Have you enabled file & printer sharing on both? Once done you need to set each drive/printer to 'shared'.

With regard to LAN gaming, not sure it works at all unless the specific game supports DCC. Most need TCP/IP or IPX/SPX? (I'm not much of a gamer, sorry if this is wrong).
