OK So im having trouble with high cpu usage in games and found a page on the Internet howto fix it
by disabling power saving options in bios. I couldnt find the Power saving options in the bios and dont want to make a mistake .
I have a z370-p motherboard also OC my cpu to 4.7ghz at 1.27v (i5 8600k.)
So I need to know where I can find it in the bios and also what I should disable / change etc.

Here is the link to site that recommended to disable power saving options=

Turn off any options that are related to power saving and then again restart your computer normally.

Would be glad for help!

Solution
Yes this is why I asked, and if someone has Z370-P or similar.

As you cannot seem to interpret your MB manual then I will try to explain having perused your manual.

The information you seek is on page 2-30, CPU-Power management control.
You can if you wish, disable SpeedStep which is set on auto by default.
You can if you wish disable Turbo mode which is enabled by default.
You have CPU "C" states which can be disabled and is on auto by default.
Many choices for you to choose.

Page 2-22 has a section Power Saving and Performance mode. and what to choose is self explanatory.

I could find no listing in your manual for "P" States.
P-states means the CPU core is also in C0 state...
The exact words depend on your board. Manufacturers might name things slightly differently.

On my (by now ancient) Gigabyte Z77 ( using an AMI BIOS/UEFI) they are under M.I.T -> Advanced Frequency Settings -> Advanced CPU Core Features and are labeled as "CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)", "C3/C6 State Support" and "CPU EIST Function"

Things might have different names between AMD and Intel, different BIOS makers and different board manufacturers. It would be helpful to know which exact board you have

P-states means the CPU core is also in C0 state because it has to be powered to execute a code. P-states basically allows you to change the voltage and frequency (in other words operating point) of the CPU core to decrease the power consumption.

Do not make arbitrary changes in Bios without knowing the consequence. 🤔

Solution
In bios I did Power Saving and Performance mode = Performance
and it also changed automatically SpeedStep and Turbo mode.
The cpu usage is the same (50% in games like Valheim, CS GO.) and 80-95% in gta V (and online.) Also sometime down to 70%
Since i do not have micro stutters in GTA V i think the cpu usage is not that bad? My GPU is almost always at 99-100% when playing games
(Also because i play them with high settings.)
anyways guys thank for your answers!
(I do have stutters in games too but they are known not to be the best optimized games....)
