Solution
The case should have nothing to do with that and I doubt it's a PSU issue. If everything's working fine now, after you've connected all the drives with a separate power cable, it sounds more like it was a cable related problem. :)
Hey there, 66nova.

What kind of format did you use for the old SSD? You are never supposed to run Full Format on an SSD as this might dramatically shorten its life. Other than that, I'd suggest that you try the problematic drive with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. You should also check if there's a firmware update available and if there is one - just go ahead and install it, to see if that fixes things up.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.

so believe it or not this may be the one of the weirdest things you have heard today but ummm i think i fixed it not sure im deciding between 2 things i have thermaltake snow edition level 10 gt case and the hard drives run off of 1 power cord and how ever many sata cable and every time i would boot it would only load 1 drive and it wasnt my windows drive so i figured i would take my drives out and plug them into there own power cables and its working fine now not its disappearing anymore is it possible its the case or maybe the psu
