I recently bought a ASUS Strix GTX 970 OC 4GB card and I have a i5 3340 @ 3.3 ghz.
I feel like some games should run at higher fps on this upgrade from a gtx 650, they are playable sure, but it's more the point of figuring out if there is an issue somewhere of if I'm just expecting too much from the card.
Games like borderlands 2 drops to around 35 fps alot of the time, even with physx on low with the rest maxed out.
Arkham City rests between 50 - 65 even when I put everything on low.
I tested dragon age origins too as I expected it to run at quite a high fps given how old it was, but it goes to about 115 fps.
yes these are all playable, but this is to check if there is an issue, I'm expecting too much, or these games are horribly optimised.
Thanks in advance
