Disc boot failure

I'm having an issue with my pc, I get the error message "DISC BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISC AND PRESS ENTER" this only happened after my brother kept pressing F8 on start up. I run vista.

Boot in with the Vista disk and run the Repair Startup.
Why was he pressing F8 in the first place, what was the problem? what did he he do after pressing F8?

He was pressing f8 just to piss me off.

"system recovery option" here I need to load the drivers and since there are none in the list, I clicked load drivers > yes > ?
