but lcd not support.
is t benift by using a hdmi to vga cable

You could use VGA if you wanted to, it does technically support 1080p ( http://stream-recorder.com/forum/can-vga-output-1080p-does-hdmi-dvi-t6400.html?s=edf15e2a63a64893c62541303e4ad448& )

Are there any other inputs on your LCD? If not, VGA will be fine.

Almost all graphics cards have a DVI slot, because that is the standard for computer monitors (not TV's, where HDMI is standard). Take a double check and make sure.
