Display not working

My compute by the sound of it boots, everything lights up but my monitor doesnt show anything

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute). If still not working, try different video cable and/or monitor.

its going to sound stupid but after 4 days i relised that the HDMI cable was not fully pluged into the HDMI socket, i feel stupid
