Hello! I am currently working on powering my pc. While the pc itself is working, the monitor leading to the display ports seems to “snooze” whenever I attempt to turn it on. The monitor I was provided with has a miniDP and regular DP that is connected within the same cable. I am using the regular sized display port to connect directly to my graphics card. Any thoughts on how to power on the pc? I can provide photos if need be.

Components:
EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER XC GAMING, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans, RGB LED, Metal Backplate, 08G-P4-3162-KR

Phanteks Pro M Series (PH-ES515PTG_BK) Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Case, Black

Dell Computer Ultrasharp U2415 24.0-Inch Screen LED Monitor, Black

On the monitor settings itself. Use the buttons on the side/back/bottom to navigate the menus and see if you can find anything of that sort.
I tried that once and was able to play with the dp settings, but now the monitor won't turn on it all and settings won't respond/no glow up button to indicate monitor is functioning at all. Anything else that might help?

Do you have another power supply cable that you can use on your monitor? Also try another outlet.
Outlet is working fine; tested with both a lamp and switching places with the psu cable and monitor cable. I do not have another power supply cable on hand. I was actually thinking of going out to buy a different dp cable to see if the one I have is faulty or if I could see better luck with a dp to HDMI cable connector, but I would prefer to find some other solution with the dp I have.
The weird thing about the monitor is when I lay it flat on its face the power button flickers on and off, and then off again as soon as I return it to a normal position.
