Hi yall! Ive searched for 4 days to find answer for this but maybe you wonderful people can help. The HDMI on my Aurora R16 has stopped recognizing HDMI input. the problems been off and on but i usually just get a new anker 2.1 hdmi and it somehow works again. i know thats a dumb temp fix but i work alot. im definitely not rough on my cords or anything. my computers on my desk and barely moves. this time the new hdmi cord didn't work 🙁 so I tried a display port cable. that works fine EXCEPT when I'm full screen gaming, every now and then (always at a bad time ofc, haha) the screen will turn black for like, 2/3 seconds or so, and then turn back on & say display port on the screen, usually with no sound until i click out if the game then back in. Im super sad about this. The HDMI port looks fine to me and ive tried making sure cords are very secure, updating firmware, wiggling (ha), updating bios, drivers, messing around in the nvidia control panel, disabling gsync & freesync, using a c to hdmi adapter (from c attached in my computer to hdmi in my Odyssey G5 monitor), rebooting (i keep it off except when im using it anyways) but im pretty new to pc gaming so not sure. do I need to replace my HDMI port? from what ive seen that requires soldering so could I do that myself? im pretty good with tools, am a carpenter by trade. alrighty, thanks so much in advance if any kind soul is willing to help me. <3 ill be eternally grateful!!!! to sweeten the pot, if someone can fix my problem, ill buy you a game on steam! (or epic if youre a weirdo, haha jk) with all the love from seattle <3
