So I put a whole Dell 660 into a new case with a new GPU. I got rid of the 80mm in the back and the new 120mm only has a molex connection. Everything works fine but whenever it turns on it says system fan failure, if I press f1 it goes to windows like normal. But it's an inconvienance. So how do I stop this?

Solution
Put a fan back on the fan header. Dell usually uses industrial fans that are better than most aftermarket parts anyway. But the fan fail error probably can't be turned off. Also fixing the fan sometimes won't clear it. You may have to go into the BIOS/Maintenenace/ SYSLOG or Error Log and clear it manually.
