Well, I have a neat little system.. 512ddr, 2400mhz, geforce ti4400..

but i watch a lot of Divx movies, so i thought, hey, why don't i buy a divx card.
I read a review somewhere once of a card that was pretty cheap and improved divx performance and quality a lot.

my questionS are these:

1. where do i find such a card?
2. what exactly will it improve? will i see an improvment in encoding time (when i'm ripping dvd's or re-encoding movies with subtitles)
3. how much do they cost?
4. do they indeed improve quality?

thats it..

~ forgive my stupid questions ~

Honestly, I don't even know what a DivX card is. Sorry I couldn't be of much more use.

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!

DivX quality is in direct relation to the quality the video was recorded in, crappy recording crappy playback period.
