Divx/Xvid 2 pass encoding

hi there,
could anyone tell me if you need to give your second pass a different
name to your first pass when encoding to divx or xvid with virtualdub ?

You can use the same name. The 1st pass Avi is a good-for-nothing.

Yes. With nth pass though, you can give the rest the same name.
