This can do it but you don't need whole Molex adapter, use just a Black and red wires for 5v.so how?
Right, Red and Black give 5v and yellow and black give 12v., yellow and red give 7,5v.SO
i can use a sata to mloex adapter and get 5 volts between the red and black wire and power another laptop fan. the data to molex adapter will work on a laptop? right
