DMA?

question for all the hardcore burner junkies out there [😉] what exactly is the difference between DMA and PIO Mode x? and which one supplies the better performance

i have a plextor 121032A burner and i was wondering what configurations could i take to make it a bit faster [ie. nothing seems to want to burn @ 12x on nero cept audio cdeez ;(] thanks

DMA 2 or higher if you can enable it should give you best performance
