Question Do I need to create a new network if I buy a new router and Modem?

Spectrum is my internet provider. They just sent me a new, updated router and modem. I already have a network that has several devices attached to it. With the new router and modem, will I need to create a new network or will I be able to use the existing one?

You will almost certainly have to reconfigure the network with your new devices.

It will have its own network name and password set to the router. You can go into the settings and set the new routers info the same as the old one.

The only thing you have to do is setup the Wi-Fi again. Anything wired is already set up and ready to go.

If you have any port forwarding rules or whatnot, those have to be set on the new router.
