Question Do paid antivirus work in pirated operating system?

I installed windows and activated by kms activator few months ago which means I am running a pirated windows until now.
If I install a paid antivirus on system then will it work properly?

I guess, its not a stupid question because most of the home users in asia do that...So the question came in my mind.

We can't help you with pirated operating system. You don't need to do it with win 10 anyway, you can run without activating it... But I can't help until you remove the pirated OS.
