Do you have to have an i7 (specificly 4770)to run more than one gpu cards efficiently? I have an i5 4670 and was wondering if it was enough.
I will be eventually getting two 760s or 770s.

Actually any PC with 2 x PCIe X16 slots will run dual cards. By efficiently, I assume you mean getting the most out of the 2 cards. Yes, almost any i5-xxxx processor is more than enough for that. But you will want to be sure the slots are at least X8, X8 bandwidth. Not X?, X4.

That's not what I meant. I was referring to the bandwidth of the slots. Make sure the 2nd PCIex16 slot is not an X4 slot electrically. What board do you have?
