[SOLVED] Does bottlenecking hurt my bottlenecked GPU or just performance?

So, I'm looking to buy a new graphics card for my old office pc but the catch is that I will need to build a new pc in a year or two either way so I was thinking I could buy a alright GPU right now which definetly gets bottlenecked and then put it in my new machine later. So does the GPU get damaged or does it only cap performance and if it does should i take some extra precautions like capping fps to not break anything? And right now in my system i have a AMD A10-7800 and was looking to buy a RX 570.

No. Otherwise GPUs would be getting damaged every time you're NOT playing a game.

As long as you have PSU capable of powering your new graphics card, there is no damage.
Minimum recommended PSU for RX 570 is good quality 450W.
