Question Does Dell 06NWYK support Intel Core i7-3770? If not, what is the best compatible gaming CPU?

I have a Dell 06NWYK motherboard, and I want to upgrade my CPU to an Intel Core i7-3770. I know that both use the LGA 1155 socket, but I am not sure if the BIOS supports this CPU.

• Does anyone know if the Dell 06NWYK motherboard is compatible with the i7-3770?
• If not, what is the best CPU for gaming that is compatible with this motherboard?

I will be using a dedicated GPU, and I am planning to install one of the following:

• RX 5500 XT 8GB
• RX 580 8GB
• GTX 1060 6GB

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. 😊

As an aside to your question, go with the RX 5500 XT, if it will work with the PC, as it is the only one with driver support now.

I would trust a I7 2600 as the data sheet for that Dell says 2nd gen CPU's are fine the I7 3770 is third gen.
