I have a 75Hz Samsung monitor(LS24R350FHWXXL) and it only has HDMI and VGA ports but it does support AMD Freesync. I understand Nvidia GPUs can use the technology and I have a 1650 Super. From all online articles, I gather I need to use the display port on my card to use this G-sync on freesync displays. But in the absence of any display ports on the monitor, will a display port to HDMI cable from amazon work?
Currently, the "set up G-sync" does not even show up on the Nvidia control panel.
