[SOLVED] Does having no DRAM in your SSD only affect write speeds or does it affect read speeds too?

Solution
SSD will be faster, but id reccomending spending just a little bit more for a better drive with dram.

A better drive should only be $5-10 more but its well worth your investement.

It's mostly useful for write speed during a short period of quick burst (maximum performance mode).

In normal working condition, the DRAM cache has no significant advantage vs DRAM-less version, especially if your computer is slow (for example you use SATA 3 SSD on computer with SATA 2).
So I have a SATA II port in my PC and am think of getting a 520 MB/s DRAM-less SSD thats SATA III. So it will still be faster than the stock 100 MB/s HDD?
