I just plugged in my two keyboard USBs (yes it has two) into those two blue USBs at the back. Above it are two red ones. I plugged both my mouse and headset in there. My mouse is perfect but the headset is the one I'm having issue with. Its a new headset...Astro a40 with TR mix amp. At first, it recognized my voice and audio....then the discord channel froze (not the application....just my voice and my friends)

I checked my sound setting. Switched to what was actually recommended by Astro themselves who made a video on YouTube on what to set to default and then boom
....... no sound at all. Then the sound program stopped responding. I also couldn't switch my amp to console then back to PC...it's like everything froze but windows will still running perfectly. Should I try that top USB port??? I believe it's a 2.0 and keep the keyboard and mouse the way it is. I do have 3.0 USB ports on my case but I kinda don't want cables hanging from the front...what should I do guys? Please look up my Mobo. BTW, some pictures show the ports at different places (the unreleased product as they did change it) so the USB 2.0 are on the top. The bottom has two blue and right above it is the red ones.

If you guys can look up my motherboard I'd really appreciate it. If you recommend me replacing the mouse and keyboard as well (meaning different ports) then let me know.

I think I answered this question once before, a while back, by PM, and in that response I also recommended Anker, as I have two Anker hubs that have worked flawlessly for years now, and I only use their replacement laptop batteries, which have always been terrific quality.

I also have an Amazon basics USB 3.0/3.1 gen 1 hub that I've had no problems with as well.

Should I get USB 2 or 3? Only got those two USBs at the back that are red (I think you said something about fast processing of a certain PC part {horrible explanation I know }

So if I can't use those, I gotta use the front which is okay, but If I can avoid it, I will.

Yes, USB 3.0, or as it may in many cases be called now, USB 3.1 Gen 1, which is the same as USB 3.0, so either of those should be good.

Any of these by Anker should be good, but I WOULD try to select one that has it's own AC power rather than one that is only powered through the USB cable, so, NOT portable. You can pretty much easily tell which ones those are by the pictures and descriptions.

I did find the issue for the freezing. It looks like it's coming from my both my SSD's. It randomly hits 100% for 7 seconds (which is completely lose control of any function on the PC) then resumes. Now, I have used this SSD before, except for the crucial mx500. The store which put my PC together did NOT see any malfunction within the drives.

So my conclusion is either a sata cable (doubtful)
Or a Windows 10 feature that's making my drives skyrocket every hour or so. I'll probably take it back in only because I don't want to start disabling features that might screw up my PC. I know for sure that's the issue. Other than that, the gameplay is silky smooth and absolutely no stutters. Just that annoying freeze. I know many other people have experienced this beforehand. It's nailing what exactly is causing it is the problem

I'm actually seeing something similar to this on several systems I'm currently working on, one of which is mine. I think you are right and it may be a Windows issue. For these systems it's even happening in browsers or in windows explorer, whatever happens to be open when it decides to momentarily go captain crazypants with the system resources. So far I've had no luck figuring out what's causing it, but one of these systems is a totally clean install of Windows build 1809 with nothing else installed except Firefox.
