most of the images are too blurry to actually see pins clearly.

just look up close, maybe with a magnifying glass if you are farsighted, and make sure all are completely straight.

just curious, what is the plan with this old dinosaur motherboard?

The best I can see I couldn't see bent pins. The only thing I see is a hair in pic #4 three pin down on upper right . But only in that pic.

The best I can see I couldn't see bent pins. The only thing I see is a hair in pic #4 three pin down on upper right . But only in that pic.

I removed that little hair (it was from a big paint brush i had laying around)

It looks ok, but it's not like any of us would be able to eyeball one pin being out of place without some serious magnification (like, at least 20x zoomed).

That's definitely one thing I like better about PGA sockets over LGA. It's so much easier to see problems on the pins of a CPU than it is to see them on the socket itself because you can look at a CPU's pins from different angles to see if any are out of place or missing. You can't do that with a CPU socket on a motherboard.

Yep. It works, but I did bend 1 VCC pin, well, I kind of fixed it, it looks higher than any other pin, but after stress testing my cpu, Voltage was ranging around 1.2 V, at 2.83 GHz (Q9550) temps were Max 66°C in AIDA64 EX. I think it would work even if 1 VCC pin is like almost good but still makes decent contact

I agree the pics have blur and extremely hard to see. Nice thing I have found is if pictures are posted off imgur.com after you have clicked to make bigger . right click the picture and select open in a new browser.

Not only is the picture bigger you also get to jumbo size the picture in the new browser.

If the pictures are clear it's the closest to magnification we can get looking at this stuff.

Also I will upgrade to the Xeon E5450 and do the Mod (Already installed BIOS mod from a .pl website, very EZ to flash)
