  • Actual support may vary by CPU.

Welcome to the forums! What CPU do you have?

Please verfiy this here is in fact your motherboard or the one you plan to buy.

Samsung 970 Evo plus M.2 is PCIE SSD. The motherboard page under Specifications says you can use both SATA and PCIE M.2 SSDs:
"1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2* SSD support)"

But only SATA SSDs if the CPU is one of there:
"Supports only M.2 SATA SSDs when using an AMD Athlon™-series/ 7th Gen. A-series or Athlon™ X4 APU".

So if your CPU is not one of those specified you can use that Samsung M.2 SSD.
