Question Does the Second M.2 Slot Run at Full Speed? MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI

I have an MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI with a WD Blue SN570 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVME SSD installed in the first M.2 slot . Im planning to get a WD SN580 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD and install it in the second M.2 slot .
Will the second slot run at full PCIE 4.0 x4 speed, or do I need to install the SN580 in the first slot for full performance?

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti

I did some googling and found out that the Ryzen 5 7600 has 24 PCIe lanes. From what I understand, the lanes are allocated as follows

x16 lanes for GPU
x4 lanes for M.2_1
x4 lanes for M.2_2

Both NVMe slots on my motherboard are PCIe Gen 4, so it doesn’t matter which slot I use, right?
