Dominator series vs Vengeance series

Hi,

This is a pretty basic question and probably there's already some topic about it somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
What is, simply said, the difference between the dominator and the vengeance series. There's a pretty big price difference,
so do you better get a 12Gig vengeance (3 slots) or a 8 gig Dominator (2 slots)?

Dominator is Corsair's best memory series. It is suppose to use the best binned memory chips.

Vengeance is the next best of Corsair's memory series. It is suppose to be the overclockers' budget minded series.

If the CPU you are using has two memory channels, like the Intel Core i7-860, then get a dual channel DDR3-1066/1333 kit.

If the CPU you are using has three memory channels, like the Intel Core i7-920, then get a triple channel DDR3-800/1066 kit.
