[SOLVED] down clock laptop cpu

i am using fx505 asus with i5 9300

i like to know if there is a way to lower/limit cpu performance or decrease core Volt or any other way in a ultra power saving mode?

when i watch movies , laptop is warm and i dont like it
also , like to save the battery when i'm on battery mode

any tip is appreciated

You can use Intel XTU to undervolt the CPU to get favorable temps. Hope this thread helps. Prior to doing anything on your laptop, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop and that your OS is also up to date.
