downclocking my memory

I have an amd 4800, 2gb corsair 3500llpro, and an asus a8r32mvp. I currently have my multiplier at 12x, fsb at 225 which puts me at 2.7ghz. I am at 42c under full load. However my ram frequency is at 245mhz, which is too high according to corsair and I suspect that my ati ccc is not loading because of it. My question is how do I down clock the ram to run at 220mhz without decreasing the fsb. Thank you for any help.

Well you have to ratio the memory to fsb thingy in the bios so set the memory setting in your bios too DDR333 and then up the fsb more to compinsate for your clock speed being lower because the ram speed will be lower then you want it most likely so in order to adjust the ram speed the fsb must be upped.

Also keep in mind this will bottleneck your system, because ratioing the memory takes away the 1:1 Cpu to ram ratio. Then you ratio it the fsb will be like 233mhz and the memory will only be 210mhz so that will hurt you sometimes.
