Hi all,
My RTX 2080 super had issues so I've sent it to a lab for a check. This might take a week, so in the meanwhile I wanted to use my old GPU - GTX 1060 (6 GB).

The steps I've made:
  1. Entered safe mode
  2. Ran DDU
  3. Turned off the PC
  4. Switched the GPUs (RTX 2080 super to GTX 1060)
  5. Entered safe mode
  6. Installed latest Nvidia drivers for the 1060
In safe mode everything works as usual, but once I leave safe mode and the Windows login page starts to load - I get a black screen with weird green dots all over. I've tried running DDU again and loading windows without any drivers and had the same issue.

Any ideas on how I might fix this?
Thank you.

You didn't need to fiddle with drivers, even latest drivers cover both GPUs.
You should check that GPU somewhere else, ny symptoms looks like 3D accelerator has died,
