I finally got a chance to go through the Terrestrial books. They come
off nicer than expected, but I'll still hold out and hope that they
publish a collection at some point...

I like the books' pattern of giving characters that represent the wide
range of age and power available to Terrestrials. Arada, Cainan and
Mnemon are certainly scary individuals, even for Celestial Exalted!
I've mentioned before about how little info we'd been given on Mnemon;
I'd no idea that the picture in Dragon-Blooded for the Fire splat was
her! Which is stupid of me considering that she's wearing the *exact*
same outfit in her chapter intro picture...I guess the template
picture just looks too innocent...^^ (btw, how would you pronounce her
name?) Incidentally, is there more to her backstory than meets the
eye? During her recap of the destruction of the previous school of
magic, I got the feeling the author meant us to fill-in-the-blanks
about something, but maybe I missed the clues?

I've heard that the write up of the Terrestrial armor is a bit
different than in Outcaste, is it a serious difference? I'm glad to
see solid info on the Realm's weather machines and Icemind is pretty
cool. I'm a little dissappointed that only Earth got a new Martial
Art, tho that makes sense, that being its Favored Ability and all.

The signature character for Water is Peleps Deled, the insane Immaculate
Monk on the cover of Exalted: The Dragon-Blooded. The signature
character for Wood is Sesus "The Slug" Nagezzer, who rules.

In addition, Tepet Ejava the Roseblack will almost certainly be one of
the sigs in Aspect Book: Wood.

Well, I think it's safe to say that the Roseblack will probably feature in
Wood.

Me too.
They should have done this for the caste books, also for the various
exlated books.

I forgot about the slug. And yeah, I like him, in a Mycroft Holmes sort of way.

....And now I'm picturing him as having a Magistrate brother who's the best
detective on the Blessed Isle.
