hi

Recently, I upgraded my PC to AM5. I bought all the parts and assembled them. I updated the motherboard's BIOS (bought second-hand), but when I turned on the computer, the DRAM LED was on. I have tested the memory in all possible ways, both in dual-channel and single-channel configurations, but the same error persists. I tried leaving the computer on for more than 10 minutes to see if it would read the memory, but nothing happened, I 'was thinking of buying another Mobo, or another RAM stick to test if my stick was faulty

Components:

Asus Rog Strix B650E-F
Ryzen 5 8500g

Ram checks out to have AMD'S E.X.P.O on it.

You should populate slots A2 and B2 for your ram. As for your BIOS update, what version did you update to? Try and reseat the processor.

You might want to pass on the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

It's possible that CPU socket is damaged and/or CPU not installed properly.
