Im sure youve heard and answered this question over and over

whats the difference between the Gigabyte ga-965p-s3 and ga-965p-ds3

to my understanding the differences are:

IEEE support
solid state capacitors
about 20 bucks

-what would i need IEEE for?
-and is it worth the 20 bucks for solid state capacitors?

it seems like i want to buy the cheaper one and put the money towards other components, but mostly everyone seems to have a ds3 and not an s3
is there some other advantage?

-thanks

If I were you go grab yourself a DS3. You are correct about the differences. These boards are good Overclockers just incase you want to overclock.
