Hi! My motherboard is Z590 AORUS ULTRA (rev 1.0) and it comes with DTS:X Ultra software/license. It comes as 2 softwares : DTS Sound Unbound which comes with activated license for DTS Headphone:X and DTS:X Decoder, other app is DTS:X Ultra where user can use "content mode",equalizer etc., stuff that changes the sound dramatically.
After upgrading to Windows 11 the DTS:X ULTRA app doesn't seem to do anything, it detects hardware perfectly and works just like it worked under win 10, but with the exception that no matter what I do with it, the sound doesn't change at all.
In the sound settings in spatial sound category I can pick : OFF, Windows Sonic for Headphones, DTS:Headphone X, DTS:X Ultra. I've set it on the DTS:X Ultra but it doesn't fix my issue.
I've even completely wiped my ssd and did clean install of win 11 and made sure I am using Win 11 drivers specified by gigabyte on their site. Still, nothing.
I've contacted support but so far (3 days) I've got no response,so I am asking anyone here if they encountered similiar problem and if there is a way to fix it besides going back to Windows 10... ?
There is practically no info on this issue on the web, most times I've seen it's about DTS:X Ultra not detecting stuff but that's not the case. Please help
Here I've recorded a video to better paint the picture:
