I've just completed a dual-boot configuration with Windows 2000 Advanced Server (Primary) and Windows XP Professional (Logical).
I have two hard drives. One IBM 120GXP set up with these operating systems set just the way I said above, and a slower WD600AB 60GB set up with a Paging File partition and a Data partition. Plus, I have two CD drives: a Lite-On CD writer and a DVD-ROM drive.
Now, I installed Win2K-AS first. After updating it and everything, I noticed that the other partition wasn't visible. It's because I used PartitionMagic 7.0 to set them up and format them.
Next, I installed and updated Windows XP. In my computer, I notice that the drive letter scheme was like this. I tried to change it, but I couldn't because I was running Windows XP. (Of course I can't change it.)
In Win2K, I have it in this scheme:
Win2K - C
WinXP - D
Paging File - E
Data - F
CDRW - G
DVD - H
Is there any way to change Windows XP like Windows 2000? If not, it's cool...it's just a cosmetic thing (or is it?). I just thought I'd ask first.
Thanks!
Bryan
