[SOLVED] Dual channel memory wont work

Hi guys,

So I recently bought an extra ram stick to upgrade to 16 gb ram. I followed the dual channel instructions but my pc stays in single channel mode.
I updated to the latest bios version and my bios is able to detect the second ram stick, it just wont use 16gb. CPU-Z also tells me i have 16gb ram
I am using Kingston Hyper X 8gb 1600Mhz and a samsung 8gb 1333 Mhz, I already changed the clockspeed in my bios settings to 1333Mhz.

I am using a MSI Z97 PC Mate motheboard, GTX 750ti, i5 4460, and some powersupply.

That particular combination has no guarantee to be compatible together. Since you can make any combinations you want, your free to do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees.
