DUAL CPU for designing

Hi, I am a 3d model designer. Having high database system requirement. currently having i3 3220 and a spare G2030.

Can i get a dual cpu motherboard. will it really boost the performance. However i am having 3GB OC ddr5 Ati radeon HD 7970 graphics card.

Or shall i go for new I7 however i do not wish to waste these processor

An i7 will be better. Which country are you from? You need two same processors for that idea.
