Question Dual or single NVMe card?

I recently bought a QNINE dual M.2 PCIe adapter card and a pair of Crucial P1 1TB Nand SSDs to fit into the card. When I installed the works on my motherboard, Windows 10 only seemed to recognize a single 1TB unit, even though there are two identical units installed in the card.
My questions are:

1. Why doesn't the computer identify both SSDs on the adapter card?
2. If I were to succeed in activating/seeing both drives, would it mean they're each sharing the resources by communicating at half speed?
3. If the answer to 2. is yes, then would removing one SSD allow the remaining unit to run at full speed?

Does your BIOS detect both drives?

And if this https://www.amazon.com/QNINE-Adapter-Controller-Expansion-Profile/dp/B077YHFJZM is the card, be sure you have the SATA cable plugged in. The top B Key M.2 drive is actually SATA not PCIe.

From what Im reading on the amazon listing that device cant support two NVME drives.

Even with the SATA cable attached, BIOS does not recognize the presence of a second NVMe SSD.
I'm really just wondering if I remove the upper NVMe unit, does the remaining one operate at a reduced speed.

Also keep in mind the slots use different keys, https://rog.asus.com/articles/maximus-motherboards/buying-an-m-2-ssd-how-to-tell-which-is-which/ . I beleive the P1 is a M key, so I dont think it will work in the B key top slot.
