Hey Tomshardware! Going to use these cpu´s for gaming, that is the only goal. Aiming to play all of the recent AAA titles such as StarWars battlefront and rainbow six siege at ultra settings 1080p 60+fps Everything will be bought second hand, most likely from ebay.de (even tho I live in Finland)
there is no limit on the budget, altough what I am looking for here is the best VALUE possible.
So my top candinates at the moment are 2x Xeon x5450´s, this is because I can find them for 20(ish) euros on ebay.de (and they seem to be good enough for even the newest games?

Solution
TBH, with stuff like this, it is hard to tell, for example, which Motherboard is best, I would just take one that will work and by parts around it. An SSD would be good, and there are some AMAZING deals on Sandisk ones this black Friday Weekend! 290/780 sure, Linus used a 980 to show that It wouldn't be a significant bottleneck.

Right PSU, TBH I have no idea, ill need to look into it. One point to note, each Xeon takes 120W, double ish that of Linus' ones!
So basically, what I have planned so far is
2x (X or E) 5450´s (~40€ total), 16gb DDR2 ECC (~30€), Mobo (~50€- €70)
=~140€
290 or 780 =~+200€
So total atm = ~+340€

do you have any suggestions for these+rest of the required parts?

Also half of the websites with info on these mobos are down or 404. *sigh*
