Something about this being on 360 and ps3 seems like a bad sign. I consider DN as one of the fathers of fps, and I still consider fps on consoles to be a joke. To put it on consoles might undermine the history and significance of the title. But, who knows, maybe this will be the game that changes my mind about consoles. Realistically though, I don't expect much from the game. I want it to be fabulous just like everyone else, but it's been so long and been tossed around a bit which has probably only stunted quality development. I already have a growing feeling of dissapointment.

same here, mostly because they are a joke. remember when microsoft was trying to put xbox live and windows live in 1 area where the console played with the 360? the canned that idea why? computer mid outkilled the consoles best by a LARGE margine.

that said, every time i see this game, they show off all the extra interactions, and they all seem to be something that is precicely controled.

[citation][nom]FloKid[/nom]No King lives forever... But this one juuuust might lol[/citation]
eh i'd consider it dead and reborn more than living forever.
We'll know if we see it.

[citation][nom]killerclick[/nom]It's just a game you nerds. $50 for 20 hours of fun, kind of like a girlfriend except you can have it.[/citation]
So edgy I almost cut myself.

Plus you only have to pay the money once.

I don't know it all just sounds kind of... dated. It's a game that should have been made 10 years ago. Some sorts of nostalgia just belong in the past. But like others have said, I feel pretty much obligated to try it out (and again like others I'll believe it when I have the actual game disc in my hands).

(If you're under 30, just ignore this post. D3D in any form obviously isn't for you. Stick to looking forward to Crysis 2 or something...)

Something about this just brings a warm and bright smile to my face.

Even if it bombs (I don't think it'll do *that* well to be honest, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. got here, wasn't too bad and had a couple of follow-ups) I'm still glad it pulled through and will soon be here. If it does well enough or if the fans can mod it and fix any shortcomings it may have this may go a ways to bringing the D3D franchise back to life.

Also, I'm hoping for some new cool one-liners.

FTW PC GAMING! (sorry..it was in there and I had to say it..)
