Good to see this on multiple platforms, might pick up a new legion of Duke fans.

Also, it's changed a lot since Duke Nukem 1. Guess that makes sense.

[citation][nom]killerclick[/nom]It's just a game you nerds. $50 for 20 hours of fun, kind of like a girlfriend except you can have it.[/citation]

HAHAHAHA!!! you keep telling yourself that while you sit behind your computer screen in your mums basement stealing her internet, Fail Troll.

I can't imagine the spec requirments and recommends being that high , The game uses a modified version of the Unreal engine , Every game i own that uses Unreal or a modified variant of the engine , Runs smmooth as butter with max settings , and that is on my PC which is almost 3 years old now (3 ghz dual core athy 64 X2 , 3 gigs ram , and AMD radeon 5770(1 gig vid ram). in other words i don't expect this game to be a "crysis" kind of release, and if it is .. i'll be straching my head wondering what 3drealms and gearbox did to f--- up the unreal engine LOL

@jerreece
LOL, you think D3 is coming out this year? Dream on, man.

On topic now: Prolly not gonna get this. It's most likely gonna be a mediocre game at best, so I'm not even gonna bother getting hyped. Besides, Duke wasn't really my thing anyways.

Now if Relic would just come out with Homeworld 3...

[citation][nom]spiketheaardvark[/nom]I guess this means that HL ep3 will have to replace DNF in the catagory of "when it's done." otherwise the universe my explode.[/citation]

nothing will ever again truely replace DNF as the all time "when its done" title , sure hl3 will be some time , but seriously it's only bee 6 years since hl2 (2004) and valve didn't even start developing hl3 after hl2 heck they might not even have started developing it yet , you got to count actual dev time. duke had 12 years of actual development time , only one other game came close to this and that was free lancer (9 years) i seriously doubt you'll see another game come near this any time soon. also consider this fact a lot of people complained about 3drealms , but 3drealms set out to build an old school game with old school length and content using modern graphics. you see teh propblem is as game tech get's more advanced content takes longer to make , hence why newer games tend to be shorter ( even RPGs like dragon age are a mere 50-60 horus comapred to RPGs liek baldur's gate that was around 100+ hours). perfect exampel is 3d modelign and textureing , in the old days , your character model only consisted of about 300 polys today characters can and ahve consisted up to about 10,000 polys (not counting fighting games which get even more rediculous poly counts , also , with textureing back in teh old day you ahd one single diffuse texture , today , you have bumb maps , normal maps , specular maps , and now with dx 11 you even got Dispalcment maps beign used in game resources its not like a larger poly count model and 5-6 textures can be created in the smae time as a low poly char and one texture so of coruse games are gonna start getting shorter , especially from companies that don't get bigger.

yeyeyeyeyeye, same formula, humor about it being in development for soooo long, this can only be good! it better be after 12years!! BRING IT ON!. 18+ hopefully!

I fear the game won't livew up to the expectations, but only because we have put them so high for last decade. But I'm confident it will be a good game by itself.

No you won't, some people preorded it years ago when it was first announced! :lol:

And you won't mind if your friends play with it as well. [:mousemonkey]

With such a long development cycle, I can't help but feel that any "revolutionary' gameplay they may have dreamt up would be old-hat by now. I am still hoping for some decent gameplay, though. I don't expect anything I've never seen before. Maybe just some well rendered boobies.
