Hello all,

I wanted to ask if there is a way to remove the top dust filter on the CM690 II 'coz I got 2 exhaust fans but airflow is being blocked (big time).

So is there a way?

I believe the top part of the case is held in place with 3 or 4 clips on either side. You will need to take both side panels off to access these clips and push them through so the top of your case comes off. Then you can remove and clean your dust filter as needed.

Some cases have filters on the top fans for aesthetic continuity with front grills. Regardless, I think the OP has been answered as it looks like a simple clip out / clean / clip back in job.

It's odd that it did come with dust filters up top... But problem solved now, I had to pull it out from underneath the plastic frame that held in place...

Any ideas on good fans for this case? Looking for LED 120mm fans in particular with low noise...

THANKS FOR THE HELP SO FAR PEOPLE! 😀

I'd suggest scythe fans if you don't mind the lack of LED's. They're very powerful and very quiet. I have 7 120mm and 2 140mm scythe fans in my case and it's quieter than my mates old Dell with only 2 fans.

If you're certain you want LED fans though, maybe something like this will do?..
